The Kings joined the NHL as one member of the original expansion that saw the NHL go from six to twelve teams. The year was 1967 and other significant events that year were the first Super Bowl, the creation of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (PBS), the release of Disney's The Jungle Book, the unveiling of the Concorde and the marriage of Elvis & Priscilla. Despite moments of greatness like reaching the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals and the 'Miracle on Manchester' the Kings never won a Cup....until 2012 that is!!! The 2012 Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup Champs T-shirt is a midnight black 100% cotton thick tee that has the Stanley Cup on the left with '2012 STANLEY CUP CHAMPS' and the Kings symbol superimposed over Stanley's mug. The 'OTH' and official 2012 Kings Stanley Cup Champs logo are screen printed on the bottom right. Nothing fancy, just a really nice record of this great victory for one of the oldest NHL franchises.
