Change was everywhere in the Oakland Seals organization as Oakland A's owner Charlie Finley purchased the team. The Seals dropped the blue trim and adopted the famous gold and green. This bright yellow (gold) 100% pre-shrunk cotton tee has the team symbol (blue 'O' with a skating seal) on the chest and 'OAKLAND SEALS' below. The Seals were worse than horrible in 1970 (they finished last and set new records for futility) and more people were fired than in a Donald Trump Boardroom. The Seals did bring in matching green and gold skates and they made history by being the first NHL team (in 1970) to put player names on the back of their jerseys. Made in Mexico and Screen Printed in Canada.
